The project was done in association with ABSA and Pat Francis Ministries, a Christian non-profit organisation based in Canada. The aim of the project is to provide an estate for children in the region which includes community functions in order to involve the rest of the community.
Houses on the estate are arranged around play courts with a private courtyard space shared by two adjacent houses. Each house consist of a house mother and eight children to establish a sense of family within every living unit. Furthermore, ownership is created and identity established by the use of colour.
