Johannesburg architects

The proposed design intervention consist of a development in the city of Mocuba with adult education and skills training as the primary focus. Additional interlinking functions consist of an informal market area, a mosque, community center and residential units.



The main idea is to create a campus where commercial, educational, religious, social and residential functions are interwoven into one development, ensuring greater interaction between the different disciplines and acting as catalyst for surrounding future developments.



Space is thus not only provided for the teaching and practicing of skills, but also for the trade of manufactured products. The design will reinforce this idea by utilizing newly taught skills and site manufactured products as part of the construction process.
